One of the key areas we constantly strive to emphasize is strategy — strategy at every level, and of course, one of those levels is content.
Approaching content strategically, leveraging opportunities from recent events, seasonal trends, or topics related to our business, represents a major opportunity to ensure our sponsored publications can rank, attract organic traffic, and ultimately provide value to the business, both directly and indirectly.
Reaching a large audience not only opens the door to qualified referral traffic — which is more likely to convert — but also to brand recognition. That’s why the way we communicate, the message we convey, and the emotions we evoke in the reader who briefly gives us their attention are so important.

In this case, a client came to our managed service with a clear goal: gain registrations and visibility for a new project.
We analyzed the project and outlined an off-page strategy, defining how we would distribute the links, the anchoring, the types of media to use, etc.
Once that was defined and we had studied the client’s business in depth, we searched for strategic content opportunities that could help us achieve the main objective: registrations and visibility.
We discovered that one of the main players in the industry had recently shut down — they announced their closure, and their domain was no longer active.
We saw a great opportunity, as branded search queries were starting to return informational results from niche blogs and, more importantly, mainstream media outlets.
We proposed a content strategy aimed at addressing the search intent of all these “orphaned users”, offering them a real solution and an alternative fully aligned with what they were looking for.
The client approved the strategy and we got to work.
We launched several similar content pieces, all targeting the same intentions, to maximize the chances of success.
Result:
- We managed to rank at least four results on the first page for the main branded keyword.
- One of the posts, with an exact cost of €93.45, reached second position.
- The inactive domain was deindexed, and our content took the top spot.
- We generated an estimated 125,000+ organic visits according to Ahrefs, and traffic has remained stable over time.
- Thousands of referral visits have been directed to the client’s project.

Sometimes, less is more. Good planning and strategy definitely make the difference.
